1. General

These terms and conditions govern the use of this website and the clinical services provided by Professor Tufail Patankar ("the Practice"). By booking an appointment or using this website, you agree to these terms.

2. Medical advice

The information on this website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. It should not be used as a substitute for professional medical consultation, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

3. Appointments and consultations

Appointments are subject to availability. All appointments must be booked through the practice management team. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule appointments at our discretion. Patients are asked to arrive on time; late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment.

4. Fees and payment

Consultation fees are due at the time of the appointment unless covered by pre-authorised medical insurance. Procedure fees are invoiced separately and are payable within 30 days of the date of invoice. All fees are as set out on the Fees page of this website and are subject to change. Please refer to our cancellation policy for fees applicable to late cancellations and missed appointments.

5. Insurance

It is the patient's responsibility to obtain pre-authorisation from their insurer prior to booking. The Practice cannot guarantee reimbursement by any insurer. Where insurance does not cover the full fee, the balance is the patient's responsibility.

6. Privacy and data

Personal and medical information is held in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Data is used only for the purposes of providing clinical care and is not shared with third parties without consent, except where required by law.

7. Limitation of liability

The Practice accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information contained on this website. All clinical care is provided in accordance with current professional standards and guidelines.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
